Testimonials
"As a teacher, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find a quality, affordable homes in Lady Lake as well as the surrounding areas.
Grand Oaks is an exciting addition to the community, offering great new housing in a wonderful, convenient location. I look forward to potentially residing in the area."
"I support Grand Oaks 100% in helping provide better housing in the area. I am an equestrian and own property in Lady Lake. Lady Lake is a beautiful place to live but home prices are out of reach (with most being in 55-plus communities), making it impossible for young professional to live here.
This problem needs to be addressed. So many younger horse enthusiasts would love to be a part of the Grand Oaks community! Beyond maintaining the beauty of Grand Oaks, it will bring revenue to Lady Lake. A win-win situation!"
I've come to an age where I'm thinking of downsizing. As a lifelong equestrian who had to finally hang up her spurs, the idea of living in the Grand Oaks community, excites me. It would fulfill my need to see, hear, and smell, yes smell, horses. Non-horse people wouldn't understand, but I guarantee you that every horse person will tell you that the love of horses is lifelong.
Facing the reality that I could no longer keep up with my horse-owning lifestyle was truly tough on me. Also taking care of the acreage here is becoming burdensome. Enter the idea of the Grand Oaks community. I've been there for horse shows. The property is absolutely gorgeous. This is one of the very few places I can actually see myself living a very happy life. A house of my own, a smaller yard to take care of, but most importantly, being able to fulfill the horse lover in me by being able to see the equestrian activities taking place right outside my door and living in the beautiful parklike setting of Grand Oaks.
My goal is to make this my new reality. Thank you for the opportunity.
I am excited to support Grand Oaks and the numerous amenities that are being offered to the Town of Lady Lake. I realize how difficult the development process can be and applaud the Grand Oaks team for working diligently to create a proposal that is beneficial to the community.
I'm writing today as a concerned resident who believes in the future of Lady Lake. Grand Oaks respects our town’s natural beauty while addressing a critical need for affordable housing. It will not only offer beautiful, well-maintained homes but also preserve our beloved equestrian traditions and over 150 acres of open spaces, including new trails and parks for residents to enjoy.
"Dean and I think this development is an excellent idea and much needed. We live in the historic side of the Villages in a manufactured home. The workers definitely need reasonable accommodations and hope this all works out.
We have been to Grand Oaks and it is a beautiful area with all the trees."
"I was excited to learn about Grand Oaks and the many benefits it can provide to Lady Lake.
I am a resident of Water Oak and very much look forward to the community amenities it will provide. I also know that it will help the entire community with more affordable housing and new revenues for the town."
I truly feel this goal for Grand Oaks is a worthwhile project. It will surely benefit the Lady Lake community in many ways. It is a great plus to all in this great town.
"I support this project. It is becoming nearly impossible for people and their families to own a home in a safe, beautiful environment.
After reading the plans for development, I think this project will afford many that dream opportunity."
"I support Grand Oaks. People of all ages need quality homes in Lady Lake to support our economy.
The new community will protect the natural beauty of the region while helping address the local housing shortage."
"I strongly support Grand Oaks! We need more housing that families can afford in Lady Lake."
